The Alliance for Revolutionary Change (ARC) has endorsed the leader of the Movement for Change (M4C), John Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen, as its presidential candidate ahead of the December 7 general elections.

Yaw Buaben Asamoa, one of the key members of the Movement for Change, made the announcement in an interview on Accra-based Citi-FM.

The ARC seeks to bring together a range of current significant political groups, organisations, and individuals. It was officially launched in Accra on Wednesday, April 17, 2024. To take part in the general elections in 2024, these groups will work closely together.

Mr. Asamoa made it clear that although Mr. Kyerematen will run as the alliance’s candidate, he will do so in his capacity as the M4C’s founder and leader.

The ARC is a grouping and it is still open for many others to join…Nobody is losing their core identities, however, they all subscribe to the ideals of the ARC…Mr Kyerematen will be the candidate of the alliance but would campaign as the leader and founder for M4C,” said Mr. Asamoa.
