Popular Gospel musician KODA has reportedly passed away.
According to reports, KODA whose real name is Kofi Owusu Dua Anto passed on after succumbing to a short illness in the early hours of Sunday.
He was 46, and left behind a wife and three children.
Unconfirmed reports have it that KODA died as a result of a sickness he was battling with.
KODA, a multi-talented artiste known for his songwriting, record producing, and multi-instrumentalist and singer was based in Takoradi in the Western Region of Ghana.
KODA was a prominent figure in the Ghanaian gospel scene.
His most recent album, “Keteke,” released in January 2021, was a critical and commercial success. He is remembered for his infectious enthusiasm and the messages of hope and perseverance embedded in his music.
Further details regarding the cause of his illness and funeral arrangements are expected to be announced by the family soon.
He is well-known for popular gospel songs such as ‘Nkwaa Abodo’, ‘Nsem Pii’, ‘Adooso’ and ‘Hossana’.
