Ghanaian celebrities shed tears after watching Afronita and Abigail’s BGT performance

Ghanaian superstar Afronitaa and her associate, Abigail of TV3 Talented Kids fame have made Ghanaians proud after their excellent performance at Britain’s Got Talent (BGT) over the weekend.

The video capturing the captivating moments of their performance have been on the lips of Ghanaians since Friday night when they performed at the BGT.

Ghanaian celebrities were not left out of emotional-wrenching moments of the duo’s performance.

They took to social media to express their emotions as videos of the dancers fly over social media with congratulatory messages and well wishes.

Okyeame Kwame, a music industry veteran, shared his emotional response, saying, “I have cried this morning with uncontrollable tears as I watched the video. In my whole 26-year career, judging Abigail to win Talented Kids is one of the most rewarding experiences I have had. Awwwwww such a visible victory. Go Abi.”

Also, Sister Derby expressed her overwhelming emotions.

“I watched it without knowing about the deaf part and cried a river, and now I’m crying an ocean. So lovely @afronitaaa  well done.”

Actresses Nadia Buari and Beverly Afaglo also outpoored their sentiments about the duo’s performance with Nadia saying, I cried too. So beautiful,” and Beverly added, “Why can’t I stop crying well done Afronita, God bless u.”

Selly Galley confessed, “I’m crying too true black stars,” while Ceccy Twum simply said, “Soo beautiful crying watching this.”

Afronita and Abigail’s performance praised Ghanaian culture and tradition on a global scale in addition to showcasing their extraordinary dancing abilities.

They won acclaim and appreciation from both the judges and audience for their ability to combine traditional African dance styles with contemporary flair.

This was their first-ever performance at the Britain’s Got Talent competition after making it through the auditions somewhere in February this year.
