Captain Planet, a former member of the music group 4×4, has lost his mother.
Sylvanus Dodji Jeoffrey, better known as Captain Planet, announced the news on his social media handle on Sunday April 21.
He disclosed that his mum passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2024. However, the cause of death is unknown.
“My biggest FEAR in LIFE just happened. Death took a shot at me yesterday and wounded me so badly,” he wrote in his post.
Amid his heartbreak, Captain Planet says he looks up to God for comfort. He also prayed for his mother to find eternal peace.

Captain Planet is one of the most renowned musicians in the country and has produced hit songls like ‘I miss you die’, ‘Obi Agye Obi Girl’ and others.
Many Ghanaians including some influencers have shared their heartfelt condolences with the musician after he announced the death of his mother.
