Nana Acheampong on AKOMA FM

Highlife legend, Nana Acheampong has indicated that he is still active in music except that he is performing poorly in promoting his songs.

Many perceived the legendary artist had dropped the microphone after his hit song “Cassanova” but he mentioned the change in management has rendered his works ineffective and dormant.

Speaking exclusively to Tony Best on Akoma FM’s Saturday Entertainment 360, the astute highlife musician reiterated that as far as he has breath echoing through him, he will continue to do music.

“Just last year I released three songs but my problem has to do with promoting those songs so that it will become relevant and withstand the current trend but I am unable to keep up.”

“Part of my silence in the music industry could also be attributed to a change in management, we haven’t been able to keep up with new developments,” Nana Acheampong said.

Nana Acheampong hints at collaborating with her sensational daughter, Gyakie to release a blockbuster in the near future.

The renowned highlife musician is a revered figure in the Ghanaian music scene with decades of experience and a rich musical legacy.

According to him, he is pleased with the exploits of her daughter, Gyakie stressing that singing is Gyakie’s innate talent as she begun preparing for her career at the early age of five years.
