Renowned Nigerian music producer, Don Jazzy has recounted the incredible journey of MAVIN Records, a record label that has produced over 40 billion streams and 12 years of quality artists.
Don Jazzy founded the record label in 2012 and currently boasts of over 10 and previous signees. MAVIN Records is unquestionably one of Nigeria’s biggest record labels.
In an Instagram post to mark the 12 years of its incredible works, Don Jazzy shared video clips featuring current and past artistes signed to the label, highlighting their achievements on streaming platforms.
The musicians connected to MAVIN have worked together on a great deal of popular songs, including songs like “Dorobucci,” “Amina,” ‘Overdoes”, “Adaobi” and others which were bangers and greatly impacted the music industry.
MAVIN records has introduced several artists who have achieved substantial success individually, including Johnny Drille, Ayra Starr, Rema, Ladipoe, Crayon, Bayanni, and more.
Noteworthy past members of MAVIN include Tiwa Savage and Reekado Banks, who have since left the label but continue to thrive in the music industry.
