Flagbearer and leader of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has expressed confidence that God will use him to turn around the fortunes of Ghana if elected president.

Addressing a group of clergymen in Tarkoradi on Thursday, May 2, the NPP’s 2024 presidential candidate said he is confident that God can use him for something good as president of the Republic.

“I believe that I can do something for Ghana. I believe God uses everybody that he wants to use to change the society…I believe that something good can come from Walewale and if God says that it should come from Walewale it will come from Walewale,” said Dr. Bawumia.

In addition, he urged the clergy to step in and stop politicians from jeopardising national security for personal benefit.
