According to local media reports, another attack on a bullion van occurred today at Gomoa Okyereko on the Accra – Winneba road.
This comes just a few days after a robbery in Accra’s James Town, in which one police officer and another woman were killed while armed robbers fled with money and an AK 47 gun.

Fortunately, the robbery was foiled when their bullet struck the window side of the van with the registration number GN 6956-17.

When the robbers sensed danger and felt around them, they took to their heels and fled into a nearby bush.
The incident is being investigated by the Gomoa Okyereko Police Command.
