‘I’m sorry for the embarrassment and disappointment’ – Serwaa Amihere breaks silence on leaked intimate video
Media Personality, Serwaa Amihere has finally responded to a leaked intimate video including her and one Henry Fitz which was posted online weeks ago.
The intimate video which circulated on social media show Serwaa on a bed with a purported ex-boyfriend Henry Fitz caressing and kissing each other.
The video had emerged on the internet on April 2, 2024.
However, the broadcast journalist in a tweet on Wednesday April 24, weeks after the video had emerged apologized for the “embarrassment, disappointment and frustration” the leaked video caused to her family and loved ones.
“It has also exposed my employers and the business and brands I represent to embarrassment,” excerpts of her statement read.
In a statement to respond to the matter, Serwaa said the video was made five years ago and had been threatened and extorted by an individual five months prior to the release of the video online.

The TV personality said after the circulation of the said intimate video, all her support system and persons who inspire and encourage her throughout her profession have been left frustrated.
She explained that at the time of making the video, she “considerably underestimated the extent of my influence, my potentials, what I would become and what I would come to represent in society.”
Age further apologized to the businesses and brands she’s in contract with for the “embarrassment and disappointment” caused to their brands.
Serwaa has since filed a suit at the court against her alleged ex-boyfriend where three persons have been charged with non-consensual sharing of intimate image, conspiracy to commit non-consensual sharing of intimate image and sexual extortion.
