Video: See the showbiz personalities who attended the outdooring of NDC’s running mate
Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, the running mate for flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Mahama was outdoored on Wednesday, April 24 at the UPSA auditorium in Accra.
The official unveiling of Prof. Naana Opoku-Agyemang was part of the party’s preparation ahead of the December polls and to formally introduce the running mate to Ghanaians.
During the unveiling, some notable entertainment personalities were spotted in action at the event. The phenomenon of showbiz personalities switching between politics and their career has been a pertinent matter over the years even on the global front.
Here in Ghana, there have been instances where some entertainment personalities have actively engaged in politics and even endorsed some political parties.
Nacee, John Dumelo, Kafui Danku, Kojo Jones and Kofi Okyere Darko (KOD) were amongst the showbiz personalities spotted at the unveiling of Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang.
John Dumelo, Nacee and Kojo Jones are staunch members of the NDC who have actively been involved in their activities in the past.
Dumelo is currently the NDC’s candidate for Ayawaso West Wuogon while Nacee was responsible for writing a campaign song for the party in the 2020 elections.
Kojo Jones also contested for the party’s parliamentary primaries in Keta in March last year.
