Gospel singer, Celestine Donkor has opened up on why she did not make it to the nominations for this year’s Telecel Ghana Music Awards.

As expected of artistes, every submission of works is based in songs released in the early months of the year under review for the selection process.

However, Celestine Donkor in an interview on Hitz FM said she submitted her ‘Come and See’ song which was released in November, just a few weeks to the closing window.

According to her, she had expected to be excluded from the nomination as she fell short of the TGMA Board’s requirement.

Celestine Donkor declared her support for her fellow gospel performers despite not receiving any nominations.

In advance, Celestine Donkor congratulated all of the nominees and possible winners, recognizing their diligence and commitment to their field.

She emphasized that if given the chance, she would be happy to perform at the awards ceremony.
