Nigerian content creator survives 24 hours under the earth in a makeshift ‘coffin’
A Nigerian content creator, only identified as Young C, has survived a strange challenge.
He was kept in a makeshift ‘coffin’ buried underground for 24 hours.
Young C caused a stir on social media on Wednesday, May 8 when he announced his intention.
In a post on his Instagram page, the daring Young C said he intends to give a live broadcast from the ‘coffin’ at night.
“I am going to be spending the next 24 hours buried in this casket. Guys, this is real, not fake. And the most amazing part is that I am going to be live by night,” he wrote on his Instagram page.
Young C disclosed in a later update that he had been buried for more than eight hours and was in bodily distress, which included profuse sweating.

In an update on Wednesday evening, he said “Guys, I have been buried alive for over 8 hours now. For those of you who saw my first video, I have been down here. As you can see, my camera is still rolling, and I have my light down there, I am sweating, guys.”
During his challenge, he connected a video and sound system to his friends in case the challenge becomes life-threatening.
It is suspected that the content creator did this as a content for his Instagram and TikTok pages.
Although he survived after 24 hours, his TikTok account (Young C Entertainment) which was used to provide updates of live videos of the challenge has been banned as it was deemed to have violated TikTok’s guidelines.
