Don’t marry your partner if you’ve not dated for seven years – Tic Tac
Well-known hip-hop singer Tic Tac is warning against jumping into marriage before dating for a minimum of seven years, an advice considered unconventional to lovebirds.
In a tweet on May 1, 2024, the Kwani Kwani crooner emphasized the need for lovers to have a lengthy courting prior to entering into marriage.
Although the musician did not provide any reason for his stance, he firmly believes that such ample time permits partners to really understand each other, get to know each other’s values and to truly affirm what they want before taking the bold decision to say ‘I do’.
His tweet reads: “Don’t marry a man or a woman you have not dated for more than 7 years. Thank me later.”

His advice has been met with mixed reactions on social media with some followers questioning his rational for making such comment.
There’s no manual for marriage , what worked for your marriage might not work for Akuffo Addo’s marriage. Let people practice what works for them . Thank you Legend

I know people who have dated from Primary to University, got married and are divorced. For marriage to work, the two must agree to agree and and also disagree, there is no such thing like dating for over 7 years. People are happily married after 1 year of dating.

Even 10 years ain’t a guarantee.. some people are having success after just a year or 2 of dating.. it’s good to take your time but there’s no formula really
