3FM Tour du Ghana 2024 pedals for climate change and inclusion

The 2024 edition of 3FM Tour du Ghana is more than just a race. This year’s event becomes a movement for change, with a focus on pedaling for climate change and promoting inclusive para cycling participation.

Scheduled for May 18th, 2024, the 3FM Tour du Ghana 2024 aims to raise awareness about the urgency of climate action while fostering inclusivity in sports.

Cyclists worldwide will ride through Ghana’s stunning landscapes, showcasing the power of collective action against climate change. The route starts from Media General in Kanda, Accra, and finishes in the scenic town of Mpraeso, Kwahu in the Eastern Region.

In a groundbreaking move, the 3FM Tour du Ghana 2024 welcomes para cyclists to compete in various race categories. This inclusion highlights the resilience and determination of athletes with all abilities. By breaking down barriers, the tour inspires others to embrace diversity and make a positive impact in their communities.

According to the Station Manager of 3FM 92.7 Lois Kissedu, “We’re thrilled to strengthen para cycling in the 3FM Tour du Ghana 2024, furthering our commitment to inclusivity and diversity,” she said. “By increasing Para cycling prizes, we aim to raise awareness about accessibility in sports and the role everyone can play in addressing climate change,” she added.

The 3FM Tour du Ghana 2024 offers more than para cycling events. Participants can look forward for Scenic Routes where participants will cycle through Ghana’s breathtaking landscapes, showcasing the country’s natural beauty.

Aside that, there will be Community Engagement where the tour will connect with local communities along the route, promoting environmental stewardship and fostering partnerships for sustainable development.
