Ghanaian celebrities particularly actors and actresses have expressed grief over the death of their colleague actor Pope Obumneme Odonwodo widely known as Junior Pope.
These celebrities have joined their Nigerian counterpart to mourn the death of the Nollywood actor.
Popular Nollywood actor Junior Pope confirmed dead after boat accident
Pope was confirmed dead on the morning of Thursday, April 11 after shortly surviving a drowning incident on Wednesday [April 10] afternoon, together with four others in River Niger in Delta State.
The actor was returning from a movie location with other crew members when the boat they were travelling in capsized leading to their death.
John Dumelo, Jackie Appiah, Gloria Sarfo, Eddie Watson and others have taken to social media to express their sorrow over Junior Pope’s death.
