Focus On My Music & Talent Than My Wig or Whatsoever – Wendy Shay

Not long ago, RuffTown records’ Wendy Shay was trolled severely on social media for allegedly wearing the same wig for three months.

Some online portals circulated the rumour that the “Uber Driver” hitmaker, Wendy hasn’t changed her long-wavy-styled wig after she made her first public appearance at the 2018 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA).

According to them, Wendy was spotted in the “Uber Driver” music video with the same hairdo and has maintained same, afterwards. While some argue the hairstyle may be one of her brand identification tactics, others seem to be tired of her wavy hair look already, insisting that there is a change.

But responding to the concerns, Wendy Shay speaking to Abeiku Santana on “Atuu” show asked her critics to focus on her music and talent than her wig because it’s not necessary.

Born Wendy Abena Ofusu Hemaa Addo, better known as Wendy Shay has released two great singles “Uber Driver & Bedroom Commando” since her signing unto the label. Currently, RuffTown records house four artistes being Wendy Shay, Breda, Mz Forson and Danny Beatz.
